Lead Engineer Systems Engineering

You will be part of the Module Tech Leads & Integration team in the Control Hardware organization, going across the organization to cover all interfaces regarding auxiliary power and integration of the control system. It is a position that will give you an original overview of how the different parts of the turbine work together. You will gain a broad knowledge of the different functions of the turbine and be involved in areas that include industrial control panels, cables, sensors, actuators, electromechanical systems, and control functions. You will also be involved in the development and integration of innovative solutions that will keep Vestas as the leader in sustainable energy solutions.
Responsibilities
Maintain interfaces between the industrial control panels, turbine control system, and surrounding systems such as sensors, actuators, converter systems, pitch control, functional safety, etc
You will be part of identifying and specifying interfaces between systems
You will be coordinating and moving system engineering/integration in Control & Auxiliary Power
You will be part of breaking product-level requirements down to module and sub-module-level requirements, planning, and identifying verification and validation activities
Maintain and develop work processes to ensure a transparent and valid overview of interfaces
You will be the main stakeholder on our system-level D-FMEA
Contributing to technology development projects to develop new or expanded functionality
Qualifications
Master's / Bachelor's in Electrical / Electronic / Similar engineering specialization
Minimum 6+ years of experience with system engineering/integration/implementation
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
Competencies
The ability to work with no supervision and to establish good working relations is essential
Outgoing personality
Significant communication skills, both orally and in written English
Good at coordinating and following up
Understanding complex systems and organizing them in a structured way
Knowledge of system and concurrent engineering principles would be useful
