Power System Integration Module - Module Quality & Customization is a sub module in ACE in Vestas Power Solutions, Vestas Power Solutions is a business unit where new product ideas are developed, matured, improved, maintained and tested. Vestas Power Solutions operates on a global scale with more than 2100 employees. As a Sub Module Department, We are responsible for Quality of the Design Deliverables across the Module positioned in DK , Porto and Chennai.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure and Own the Process for Effective Support on Reported Failures across the Module

  • Facilitate and conduct RCA, Failure analysis and other quality issues with sub modules and stakeholders outside module

  • Ensure closed loop quality by recording and implementing all modes of lessons learned in new projects

  • Identify and Initiate Quality Improvements in module & responsible for Performance Dashboard

  • Understanding of Power System components with an overview on Plant Controllers, Grid Models, Grid Integration, Environmental Controls

  • High-level understanding of Power System working principles

  • Failure modes for Software Development Process

  • Analysis, modelling, simulation, simulation tools

  • Lab testing and verification methodologies

  • Significant experience in experimental physics and design of test/verification



Qualifications

  • Bachelor / Master / PhD in Electrical / Power System / Embedded / Electrical & Electronic / Power system / Similar specialization

  • For Engineer 2 to 5 years and for ALE 5+ years of experience with knowledge in Software Development Cycle

  • Experience in C++ & Python are preferred

  • Python, R, MATLAB programming and M scripts

  • Capable of defining the vision within the field of Design quality/Reliability

  • Good communication skills in English orally and written

  • Good leadership and communication skills and capable of acting as a motivator

  • Capable of delivering short term results without losing the long term vision
