At Global Operational Support we are responsible for servicing our wind turbines globally, which requires the best of knowledge and skills of dedicated professionals. We strive to be the No. 1 performing business unit within Vestas and we aim to make Vestas the best place to work.


Currently, we are looking for a dedicated Team Leader to ensure performance and lead the crews of Travel Technicians (who are traveling 100% of the time to various sites), in compliance with Vestas safety standards and processes. As a Team Leader, you need to ensure your team is qualified and possesses relevant and valid certifications and training so that the competencies can be used on-site in the most effective way. As a Team Leader, you need to also understand the issues of your team, but you will be also appointed to cooperate with the Regions/Sub-Region.


Responsibilities

  • Ensuring safety & quality standards and processes are maintained
  • Delivering daily operational performance to meet requirements of forecast and planning, with a focus on cost and efficiency
  • Delivering to commitments on turbine performance & continually implementing change management in line with operations development
  • Developing the skills and competencies necessary within your teams to meet operations tasks
  • Responsibility for recruitment and leadership of local service technicians and hub support roles
  • Team building, motivation, and employee satisfaction & development, etc


Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience being a team leader. Education, studies, or courses within management is also an advantage
  • Experience in leading a team and also with remote leadership
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbally
  • Professional knowledge of Microsoft and IT in general. If you have been part of implementing new IT Systems, this would be beneficial
  • System user of MS Office, SAP and Salesforce
  • Experience in managing global improvement projects
  • Willing to comply with the Global Scale of the support and the stakeholder's time zones

Location: Bucharest, Romania

Traveling: 15-20% of work time.
