Vestas is the energy industry’s global partner on sustainable energy solutions. We specialize in designing, manufacturing, installing, and servicing wind turbines, both onshore and offshore. Vestas has a great outlook on manufacturing for years to come due to the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and the Advanced Manufacturing Production Credit (AMPC). This unprecedented legislature and tax credit ensures growth for the next decade, and we are now looking to grow our Production Assembly team at our campus in Brighton Colorado to work Monday thru Thursday 5:00am to 3:30pm.

What does a Assembly Technician do?

· Assemble components using hand and power tools.

· Operate manufacturing equipment efficiently and in a safe manner.

· Follow Process Work Instructions, Manual production processing, Fit and assemble parts to complete assembly (such as bolts, screws, shafts, or bearings)

· Meet production standards on specific tasks within required time.

· Lift, position, and/or remove material from work areas.

· Load, stack and transport materials by bridge crane

· Read the schematics for your machine component.

· Work with other assemblers to create a final product.

· Test and inspect components for uniformity and quality.

What are we looking for in a Assembly Technician?

· Strong mechanical aptitude

· Experience working with large machinery.

· Familiarity with standard power and hand tools

· Mechanical Aptitude

· Ability to read and follow written instructions in English.

· High school diploma or GED

· Enjoys working in a team environment and collaborating with colleagues.

Pay: $20.50 - $21.00 per hour
