SQE&D dept is response new supplier qualify, new items qualify, supplier chain performance development.
Responsibilities
- Follow Vestas technical requirements, implement these standards and requirement to supplier casting process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality requirements into supply chain operations.
- Manage supplier quality performance, including conducting audits, evaluations, and periodic reviews to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Work closely with suppliers to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in casting supply chain operations to enhance efficiency and reduce defects.
- Lead or participate in projects aimed at optimizing welding processes and materials to improve product quality.
- Provide training and guidance to supply chain team members on quality-related topics.Develop and execute quality control plans and inspection plan for casting materials and components.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for non-conformances and implement preventive measures.
- Identify the risk and lead supplier to mitigate.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer-specific requirements related to casting.
- Assist in maintaining necessary certifications and accreditations for casting processes and assembly process.
- Prepare detailed quality reports, metrics, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, inspections, and test results.
- Follow Vestas process to qualify new suppliers.
- Close open findings and mitigate the gap.
- Follow APQP4Wind process to qualify item and process
- Identify the risk during the qualification process.
Qalifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field).
- Qualified NDT II or NDTIII (Certification not expire)
Competencies
- Familiar with casting processes, process parameter control, and quality influencing factors of common casting methods such as sand casting and precision casting; be proficient in nondestructive testing technologies, such as VT, MT, PT, UT, etc.
- Be familiar with quality management system standards such as ISO9001, have good quality management knowledge and practical experience, and be able to skillfully use quality tools (such as 8D reports, FMEA, SPC, etc.) for quality problem analysis and solution.
- Have more than 3 years of work experience in supplier quality management in the casting industry or related manufacturing industries.
- Have professionalism and execution ability, be ready for frequent business trips.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work in an unpredictable environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient English both spoken, read and write.
- Be proficient in using office software and have good data analysis and report writing abilities.
Primary work location: Tianjin/Wuxi/Hangzhou, China
