Vestas Power Solutions is the cornerstone of Vestas. As a part of Vestas Power Solutions, the Product Solutions & Integration is responsible for designing the product architecture and product roadmap in response to market roadmap requirements, translate product architecture and roadmap into module requirements, and full Value Chain Integration.
Loads and Control (LaC), as part of Product Solutions & Integration, is responsible for designing and optimizing the product for load and control strategy together with cross product design work. The department consists of highly skilled, international, well experienced engineers who are taking accountability for all aspects of the LaC solution delivered to the Products which are placed across 3 design locations: Portugal, Denmark and India.
LaC Simulation Tools department is responsible for strategizing, developing, releasing, improving and supporting users of LaC Tools. In the control tools group, we are responsible for the automation tooling that supports both the development of new controller functions and the tuning of new turbine variants. This entails scripting and programming of tools that interfaces all parts of the code base, from the data model over the controller implementation in Simulink to the creation of the target binaries.

Responsibilities

  • Define strategic roadmap with C Level plan
  • Setting up directions for TL's & SCRUM Master on project execution
  • Design and Develop data pipelines and transformations
  • Contribute and Design CI/CD, improve the review process and code quality

Qualifications

  • BSc/ MSc/Ph.D. in Engineering
  • 8 to 10 years' experience of relevant experience in multicultural and international organizations
  • Experience in advanced data analytics & Azure
  • Experience with aeroelastic tools development for wind turbine
  • Good exposure to SAFe and Agile methodology

Competencies

  • Skilled working experience in Cloud-based data tools is mandatory - e.g. Azure Datalake / Databricks / Data factory / Synapse / Analysis Services / LogicApp, etc
  • Exposure in Programming language like in Python/ SQL / Perl, Etc
  • Working knowledge in Python programming and willing to work in any programming.
  • Good exposure in product development tech guiding complex projects with global team.
  • Work structured, systematic and have consistent attention to detail, which enables you to meet deadlines

Additional information
In this full time role, your primary work location will be in Aarhus, Denmark (Our HQ) with up to 20 travel days per year.
