Digital Experience and Infrastructure as a Servie (DEX&IaaS) is part of Digital Technology Solutions reporting to the CIO of Vestas, where we are end-to-end responsible for the full stack foundational Enterprise Infrastructure; everything from laptops over server infrastructure to Global WAN services.
We develop, deliver and own strategies, roadmaps, governance and day-day operations driven by business demands and technology expertise. We are a digital factory working in independent agile products with full budget responsibility on global digital platforms delivered from both smaller local vendors as well as major global vendors. You are accountable for a number of the major accounts and responsible for the financial overview in and across the agile products and areas.

Responsibilities
As a SDM you’ll, in close collaboration with our Vendor Management and procurement office, drive vendor relationships in all phases; contracts, day to day collaboration, invoicing and controlling. Our continued success is heavily dependent on our vendors, and ongoing performance and relation development is crucial. On top the financial numbers with these vendors are of a size that calls for continuously optimization. Main Vendors are our Global WAN line (internet line), our hardware and platform vendors and our Sourcing Partners.
Guided by, and in collaboration with, our finance partners you develop and maintain financial reports and overviews for the budget owners in the department. You use the deep insight in our budget numbers for various impact and business case analysis.
Either driven by your SDM role or the financial and/or performance initiatives your financial analysis you’ll be accountable for cross cutting change initiatives in the department.

Qualifications
Experience in this type of role is off course advantageous and we can easily have overseen responsibilities that should be taken care of, but documented talent can open the door.
We expect you to have a relevant background such as.

  • A Bachelor or master’s degree in IT, engineering, finance or related.
  • Experience working with enterprise ERP systems and related reporting tools.
  • Experience working commercial contracts and light financial controlling is beneficial.
  • Project management, where you’ve both defined and driven a well defined scope.
