You will play a crucial part in ensuring that our potential employees get the best impression of us from the very first interaction. It will also be your responsibility to promote that we drive the talent acquisition agenda in the most inclusive manner and ensure diversity in our leadership teams. In this role, you will report to the Senior Vice President of Global Talent Management.
As Head of Global Talent Acquisition, you will interact with global key stakeholders across functions, especially the wider Global Talent Management team, global and regional HR functions, and business leaders. You will have a team of five regional Talent Acquisition Managers covering North America, Latin America, Asia Pacific, North -, South -, and Eastern Europe, and Africa reporting directly to you. In addition, you will also support a team working with talent attraction and onboarding.

Responsibilities
Together with your team, you will set the direction for Global Talent Acquisition in Vestas and be responsible for developing and delivering operational excellence in end-to-end recruitment processes. This include:
- Lead and inspire a global team of dedicated people within attraction, recruitment, and onboarding
- Ensure collaboration with and continuous engagement with relevant senior stakeholders across the business
- Promote important initiatives in Vestas’ Talent & Leadership Must-Win Battle around attraction, diversity, and succession in close collaboration with your colleagues in the Global Talent Management leadership team
- Ensure continuous improvement of services, processes, and enabling technologies
- Build and maintain Vestas’ global Recruitment Process Outsourced (RPO) set-up with global vendors in close collaboration with procurement
Qualifications
- You have deep understanding for talent acquisition and talent attraction with a proven history of translating this knowledge into business content
- Experience with running an outsourced recruitment set-up and vendor management
- Relevant experience from working in global businesses; ideally having worked in more than one country
- Experience from working in and with different cultures in a global matrix organisation
- People manager experience and the ability to deliver results while developing your team with exemplary values-based behaviours
Competencies
- Demonstrated ability to effectively handle and influence a broad range of stakeholders across organisational levels and functions
- A proven history of using data (qualitative and quantitative) to make strategic decisions. If the data does not exist, you are able to create it based on user-input
- The ability to design, promote, and communicate initiatives internally and externally
- Great communication skills in English (verbal and written), comfortable with public speaking
- The ability to translate complex data into simplified messages and solutions

The work location will be in Aarhus, Denmark.
You can expect up to 50 days of travel per year.
