The Main Component Exchange department is responsible for ensuring a high-quality customer experience when completing main component exchange projects for our customers, supporting service sites in executing special campaigns and internal project support within department.


Responsibilities

  • The PM is responsible for delivering the project on time, within budget, following the required quality standards and with excellent HSE performance
  • Build Up, manage and lead the specific project organization
  • In conjunction with the Head of Department, the PM ensures the project is staffed according to the Special Project stage gate model or as otherwise agreed with the Head of Department
  • The PM proactively manages all aspects of project management including but not limited to budgeting, scheduling, stakeholder management, risk managing, reporting, procuring, and communication
  • The PM acts as an ambassador for Vestas, Offshore Service, and subdepartments
  • The PM contributes actively to building and maintaining good work ethics and team spirits in the department and the wider Vestas community

Qualifications

  • Project Management Certification – qualified in PRINCE2, PMI (PMP), or a similar recognized methodology
  • Degree in Engineering, Business/Commercial Studies, or Project Management
  • 3–5 years of experience in a comparable industry and/or project management role
  • Risk Management Expertise – proven ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks effectively
  • Reporting Governance – strong understanding of project reporting standards and governance frameworks
  • Contractual and commercial expertise – experience managing contracts and commercial aspects of projects
  • Product Knowledge – solid understanding of the products or solutions being delivered

Work location: Vestas' office in Aarhus (DK)
This position requires approximately 20 days of travel yearly.
