Service Analytics is part of Digital Solutions, and acts as the data insights center of excellence (CoE) for the Service organization at Vestas.

This team is responsible for creating data products using the latest technology, that create value by solving business requirements or challenges, with a combination of multiple roles like Product Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and all the development team, to make the deliverables happen.

The data products are crucial for the Service business unit, a +10k people organization that relies on these data insights for data-driven decision-making and performance management.

Examples of the functions that benefit from the data insights are Service Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial or Quality; and they consume this information to create tangible improvements around cost performance, drive asset production performance, and overall business optimization by creating more transparency and a data driven culture.


The Product Owner is responsible for enabling the Service business unit to make better decisions based on data through transparency and actionable insights, for key decisions across the value chain in Service, which are primarily delivered through self-service analytical tools and management support.

  • Act as the bridge between the Business Owners and the Analytics Development team to prioritize business challenges, and deliver technical solutions that enable the Business Owners' organizations to drive performance and decision making.
  • Play the Product Owner role on primarily self-service analytical tools (PowerBI) for your own part of the operational service value chain to deliver actionable insights to end-users, by also training end-users on how to consume/interpret the data insights.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for operational performance improvement and discuss with management and experts on how to capture value.
  • The role as Product owner entails working agile by capturing requirements for development from end-users, technical and process experts, continuously prioritizing the backlog, working with Service Analytics Development team to scope work, improving UX/UI, testing and securing adoption by engaging and training end-users in the products you own.
  • Drive active knowledge sharing on best practices within the region and the global Service Analytics team.


  • A Bachelor of Master's Degree within STEM area or Business intelligence with relevant educational back ground.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within the Data analytics domain in a large global company.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as MS PowerBI, SAC, Tableau, Spotfire, advanced in Excel etc.
  • Experience driving or contributing to Operational excellence projects, Lean, DMAIC, Six sigma.
  • Understands business development, financial data, and P&L.
  • Experience with complex data sets, data modelling, machine learning, etc., from development to deployment (E2E) with significant business impact is a prerequisite
  • Experience working with IOT data in an operational would be good to have.
  • Experience working with SW Agile would be good to have.
  • Experience from industrial manufacturing, industrial service business or the energy sector would be good to have.
  • Good communication skills in english, both verbally and written.


  • Curious and self-motivated with focus on driving impact.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with and through others, in a matrix organization, with multi-national stakeholders and teams.
  • Ability to work with both highly technical and business - oriented leaders and translate technical analysis and concepts into the right business insights.
  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.
  • Exceptional facilitator and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Organized, systematic, with a natural attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools would be an advantage.
  • Flexible regarding work hours (international stakeholders).
