The Tools Excellence Office is a department constituted of 8 specialists working in close collaboration with different stakeholders across the Vestas organisation. Predominantly, we support our onshore and offshore colleagues in Construction and Service Operations with their specific needs. Given our unique position in the organisation we work across the global matrix structure, covering the entire value chain. This allows us to obtain a deep understanding and great insights into what is going on.
By joining our team, you will be part of a knowledge focused and engaging team who wants to learn and understand the issues we face. We work closely together to find the best way to resolve tasks and projects we are engaged with. This is key for us, in our pursuit of connecting the overall process for the Global Service Supply Chain to the daily operation in the front line.
Responsibilities
As our Operational Excellence Senior Specialist, you will take on a great deal of responsibility. This includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Implement continuous improvements in One Tool's warehousing activities, including the handling of tools from inbound to outbound, maintenance, warehouse layout and more
- Manage both short- and long-term support for regional tools planning and logistics distribution to ensure efficient use of tools and inventory management
- Tasked with maintaining relationships with internal international clients, stakeholder liaisons, and global divisions, while collaborating with peers across the organization to bolster the significant growth of Vestas
- Ensuring operational quality e.g., through unified framework and global processes Be an inspiration force with a great desire to teach and coach new colleagues and lean specialists in understanding and applying operational excellence disciplines
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience working with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement preferably with warehouse activities in scope
- Extensive years of experience in management disciplines is required, i.e. strategy deployment, change management, customer relationship management, business cases development, supply chain management, or similar
- Highly Professional communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Experience working with SAP or equivalent ERP

- Team-oriented person who is enthusiastic about cross-functional collaboration
- Demonstrated capacity for autonomous and collaborative work under strict time constraints

- Able to cope with change and working under ambiguous circumstances
