You will be part of the Control & Auxiliary Power development team in the Control Hardware organization, going across the organization to cover all interfaces in regards to auxiliary power and integration of the control system. It is a position that will give you an original overview of how the different parts of the turbine work together. You will gain a broad knowledge of the different functions of the turbine and be involved in areas that include industrial control panels, cables, sensors, actuators, electromechanical systems, and control functions. You will also be involved in the development and integration of innovative solutions that will keep Vestas as the leader in sustainable energy solutions.


Responsibilities

As Module Technical Lead in Control & Auxiliary Power, your main responsibility is to handle and provide technical solutions across the CHW module. This includes:

  • You will work in close interaction and collaboration with our global R&D teams as well as external suppliers

  • You will guide technical projects following the Modular Vestas Way To Market from the early concept stage through design and verification. The project timeline is primarily 1–11/2 year

  • Your main responsibility will be guiding technical solutions as a cross-module technical project manager

  • You will have to implement new designs in accordance with Vestas process and Engineering Change Management system

  • You will have platform design responsibility for creating high-level technical purchase descriptions, enabling external suppliers to deliver our products at the expected quality and within the agreed timelines.


Qualifications

  • B.Sc.E.E, M.Sc.E.E or other relevant education combined with 2 years of professional experience

  • Knowledge of Control panel design, Low-Voltage component and system testing

  • Knowledge of International standards such as IEC, UL, etc., e.g. IEC 60204-1 Machine directive

  • Skilled communication skills in English (oral and written)

  • Work experience in a global company would be beneficial.
