Our newly established Warehouse Development & Excellence department within Global Logistics is looking for a capable and motivated Lead Specialist to help optimize our global warehousing setup. Reporting directly to the head of Global Logistics, you will play a critical role in ensuring the growth of our supply chain operations on a managerial level. Furthermore, in this Senior Manager level position you will become a part of the Global Logistics Management Team and set the direction for global warehousing in Vestas Service Supply Chain



Responsibilities
As our Lead Specialist, you will operate on a senior managerial level and be responsible for:

  • Setting a global direction for and collaborating with regional counterparts across the globe
  • Analyzing, developing, and maintaining the operating model of warehouses located around the world
  • Ensuring warehouse operational readiness for onshore and offshore businesses
  • Collaborating with other departments to optimize the global logistics network
  • Developing a strategy for future storage requirements globally
  • Utilizing the global warehouse footprint to meet critical storage requirements
  • Coordinating the Quality, Health & Safety strategy for the global warehouses

Qualifications
To be qualified in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelors or master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in International Logistics Solutions, Project Management, Warehouse Management or Management Consulting
  • A pragmatic, structured, and fact-based approach to your work
  • The ability to identify improvement areas and run continuous improvement initiatives
  • Experience with stakeholder management on a managerial level
  • Fluent English language skills at negotiation level

  • Communicates clearly and factually to colleagues and management

Location: Aarhus, Denmark.
