Global HSE plays a strategic role at Vestas. Global HSE sets the playfield and the minimum HSE requirements globally, and provides global governance. Global HSE ensures the overall end-to-end Vestas HSE Management, Controls, Assurance and Performance in close collaboration with the Regions in line with the Vestas Strategy & Values. The function actively promotes the risk-based approach to HSE across the organisation.


Responsibilities

  • Define, align, and maintain a global Health & Safety and Environmental capability and competency framework and provide strategic direction through assessments and strategic planning to set and achieve targeted levels of HSE awareness and capabilities
  • Support the functions in implementing the strategy with various training and education methods to ensure competencies throughout the global organization
  • Promotes cultural development and coordinates global focus events
  • Define, align, and maintain a global Health & Safety and Environmental competency and capability framework and provide strategic direction through assessments and strategic planning to set and achieve targeted levels of HSE awareness and capabilities
  • Define and maintain role specific HSE competencies across Vestas and ensure that a learning and development framework and infrastructure is aligned and in place
  • Work with regional leads to ensure competencies are assessed and development takes place
  • Drive the Vestas HSE culture development through awareness campaigns and global events facilitation, like Global Safety week, Global Environmental week, Global Health & Wellbeing campaign, behavioral programs, like Walks and Talks, and other activities


Qualifications

  • Relevant Bachelor's Degree
  • Extensive experience preferably as a people leader, competency project manager or similar position in large, multinational, matrixed organization
  • Fluency in English is required
