The purpose of HSE Sales & Construction department is to continuously improve health, safety, and environmental aspects, so that together with our colleagues, customers, and suppliers we can create a better world now and for future generations. We are a global team, building bridges across regions and functions and actively creating a safer working environment. The position can be based in Aarhus or Copenhagen (other options also possible). You will be reporting directly to Head of HSE Sales & Construction.


Responsibilities

  • Facilitate alignment and standardisation of HSE within Sales & Construction across Regions
  • Develop selected HSE improvement initiatives that have a global impact
  • Support data & system improvements related to HSE
  • Drive cross-regional data and risk-based approach in Construction & Sales
  • Support HSE innovation - ensure that the latest knowledge and tools are identified and leveraged in defining the HSE strategy in Construction
  • Define global and regional leading and lagging indicators across Sales & Construction to improve the corporate HSE performance
  • Promote sharing of best practice through knowledge transfer internally in Vestas as well as participate in industry groups aiming to share best practice and standardise relevant HSE matters.
  • Participate in creating the audit plan for compliance against global processes and tools in Construction

Qualifications

  • Stakeholder management, effective problem-solving capabilities, strong collaborator and cultural sensitivity skills
  • Proactive and make things happen approach with openness and curiosity for innovative solutions
  • Experience in HSE improvement, HSE data analysis, risk-based approach to HSE or setting up leading & lagging HSE indicators
  • Able to communicate across all levels to align expectations, engage the organisation, monitor results and establish solutions
  • Knowledge of at least one of the standards: ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001/ ISO 4501
  • Experience with HSE in Offshore/ construction environment
  • Experience with commercial HSE

Competencies

  • Good level of English language both in writing and verbally
  • Good knowledge of applicable HSE standards and regulations
  • Great IT & Data analysis skills

Primary Location: Aarhus, Dk.
You will be required to travel around 30 days per year
