Situated in the Service business area in Vestas, the Service Strategy and PMO department merges strategy development with actual execution. The department is responsible for setting a clear strategic direction, and to convert that direction into a balanced portfolio of initiatives that cater to the strategic priorities. In short, the department drives, guides, and governs the end-to-end strategy process in Service - from development and communication to execution and benefit realization.

Responsibilities
As Head of PMO you will among others:

• Set the overall direction for and support the Portfolio Management team in Vestas Service
• Continuously develop the end-to-end portfolio framework and mature a seamless integration from portfolio prioritization to delivery to benefit realization
• Prepare and facilitate quarterly portfolio reviews with the Service leadership team (EVP/SVP level)
• Guide and influence the cross-functional Portfolio Community in Vestas Service to continuously strengthen the collective portfolio management capability in the organisation
• Engage with PMO teams in other parts of the value chain to facilitate knowledge sharing and alignment across business unit

Qualifications
We envision that you have:

• Practical knowledge with project and portfolio management in a large corporation
• People leadership experience as you will direct a small team of skilled portfolio specialists and professionals
• Experience from global organisation as you will engage with colleagues around the world
• Experience with agile portfolio management good to have, as you will guide the journey towards increased speed, flexibility, and alignment in the core portfolio processes

• Solid ability to influence, engage and motivate stakeholders at all levels as you will be engaging with colleagues from across the Vestas value chain, including our five regions
• A pragmatic and outcome-oriented mindset where decision and actions are guided by the strategic aspiration of Service
• Solid communication skills as you will be working within a global and multi-cultural environment

Additional information
The position is in Aarhus, Denmark. Moreover, you can expect up to 10 days of travel per year.
