Your exposure and visibility are high, and the role offers the opportunity to both contribute to the strategic agenda as well as gaining experience in daily high-impact operational decisions, at a global level. This position will expose you to different parts of our business within Vestas as you will be the Global Procurement Specialist for MultiBrand within our Service Materials Procurement team, in Global Procurement. It allows you to build a network across the organization and participate in the development of the ever-growing agenda, living up to the Vestas Values.

You will become part of a creative global team covering materials for the global service business unit in Vestas. We pride ourselves on treating each other with respect and supporting each other to stay focused, committed, and motivated at all times. You will be working with dual reporting lines, reporting to the Global Director of Service Material Procurement and the Global Head of Multibrand Operations.


Responsibilities

  • Drive and direct the MultiBrand procurement agenda working down end to end cost while increasing availability in close collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Secure MultiBrand are an integral part of Module Teams within Vestas, and leverage scale, secure supply at right price and quality, and compliant with Vestas policies
  • Take full ownership of special sourcing projects
  • Implement sourcing strategies & supplier strategies and explore market opportunities enabling either competitiveness or availability
  • Secure and implement Procurement processes related to suppliers, not limited to Risk Assessment, Supplier Relationship Management and Supplier Accounting Plan
  • Actively engage and collaborate with other functions including Sales, Service, Manufacturing, R&D, Quality, finance and external stakeholders
  • Work closely with the Matrix Regional organization on strategy execution

Qualifications

  • You have solid procurement experience, including working with cross-functional teams and demanding Stakeholders
  • You have an efficient theoretical background within procurement, engineering, finance or similar
  • As our corporate language is English, fluency in English is needed, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to operate on both strategic and tactical/operational levels
  • High-level experience with stakeholder management
