Vestas is the energy industry's global partner on sustainable energy solutions. We design, manufacture, install and service wind turbines.
The Nacelles Factory in Brighton manufactures nacelles (an engine) and hubs for wind turbines in 265,000 square feet of building space.
As a member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in the assembly of Nacelles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble fabricated parts at designated floor stations
- Operate manufacturing equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency
- Adhere to Process Work Instructions and manual production processes
- Collaborate with fellow assemblers to construct the final product
- Test and inspect components to ensure they meet our standards of uniformity and quality
Requirements:
- Mechanical Experience (2+ years)
- Consistent Work History
- High Attention to Detail
- Ability to read and follow written instructions in English
- Commitment to quality craftsmanship and teamwork
Preferred/Nice to Have:
- Assembly Experience
- Electrical Experience
- Craning or large equipment
- Motor/Engine experience (gear shafts, etc)
- Component Installation
- Prevention Maintenance on equipment (maintaining wiring or motor function)
- Experience working with different types of hand, pneumatic and hydraulic tools

Compensation:
$23.50 - $30 per hour (depending on experience)
+ Night Shift Differential $3
Shifts Available:
Day Shift: 5AM-3:30PM
Night Shift: 5PM-3:30AM
