Package: $110,000 - $140,000 + equity

We're looking for a Mechanical Engineer who can take ownership of battery-focused hardware development; from early concepts and CAD design through prototyping, validation, and production-ready solutions

Responsibilities

Support mechanical design and development of battery systems, modules, enclosures, thermal structures, and related hardware.

Develop CAD designs from concept through prototyping, testing, validation, and production release.

Design and improve battery components, mechanical assemblies, cooling solutions, and structural hardware.

Build prototypes and support hands-on testing, assembly, and validation activities.

Perform thermal, structural, vibration, and performance testing to improve designs.

Collaborate with electrical, thermal, manufacturing, and systems teams to develop integrated hardware solutions.

Create engineering documentation including CAD models, drawings, specifications, and test procedures.

Support rapid development cycles focused on testing, iteration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

5+ years of mechanical engineering experience developing physical hardware products.

Strong 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks, Creo, NX, CATIA, or similar).

Hands-on experience designing, prototyping, assembling, and testing mechanical hardware.

Experience with battery systems, energy storage, thermal management, heat transfer, aerospace hardware, or other high-reliability applications.

Experience designing mechanical components for battery packs, modules, enclosures, cooling systems, or power systems preferred.
