This is a dynamic role that blends partner outreach, market intelligence, onboarding and training, evaluation and due diligence, and engagement with the global restoration community, plus the flexibility to jump in and support other priorities when needed.

veritree is seeking a Sourcing Coordinator to play a key role in the success of our global restoration efforts. This is a dynamic role that blends partner outreach, market intelligence, onboarding and training, evaluation and due diligence, and engagement with the global restoration community, plus the flexibility to jump in and support other priorities when needed.
6 Month Key Outcomes (6m KOs)
- Deliver a documented pipeline of 10 vetted planting partners in priority regions, both domestic and international, that meet veritree's baseline sourcing criteria and are ready for deeper due diligence or onboarding.
- Conduct 3 sales enablement sessions with veritree's Revenue Team in coordination with veritree's planting partners
- Organize and maintain a centralized, up-to-date planting partner database where 100% of sourced partners have complete, standardized records that are searchable and validated for accuracy
Planting Partner Support
- Field ad hoc requests from relevant teams within veritree that require planting partner feedback or input
- Coordinate planting partner onboarding and introductions to field operations and marketing
- Coordinate and conduct sales enablement sessions with the planting partner and Revenue Team.
- Manage administrative tasks related to setting up new planting partners within veritree's internal systems
- Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations, and qualification status in CRM or sourcing tracker
- Research, identify, and engage prospective planting partners in new geographies
- Conduct outreach and initial partner assessments to ensure alignment with veritree's quality standards
- Collect and organize planting partner information for easy access and use by marketing, sales, customer success and field operations
- Collect and organize information from the sales and Customer Success Team to inform new geographies for veritree's planting operations expansion
- Support the creation of SOPs and ensure that Due Diligence processes align with the Revenue Team's needs and the latest industry requirements (Canada and globally).
- Jump in to support cross-team projects and tasks that arise from research and coordination to event preparation and special initiatives, ensuring veritree stays agile and responsive
- Assist with adjacent programs like NRCan's 2BT initiative or other government funded initiatives.
Qualifications
- Passion for impact-driven work
- Intellectual curiosity and a self-starter
- 2-5 years of experience in forestry, restoration, conservation, sustainability, or related environmental fields
- Strong project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives at once
- Experience working with NGOs, industry alliances/networks, international organizations, and Indigenous Nations is a nice to have
- Experience building and maintaining customer pipelines
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
- Potential for international travel for site visits and events
- Flexible, proactive, and comfortable taking on diverse tasks outside your core responsibilities
