Chief Operating Officer role at Vaulted Deep Full-time Vaulted is a waste management company that removes carbon. We take organic waste that can pollute our environment above ground and safely inject it ultra deep undergroundpermanently removing carbon from the atmosphere while protecting local land, air, and water. With a growing team of 70+ people across the country, Vaulted signed the second largest carbon removal offtake ever with Microsoft in July 2025 and is rapidly expanding to new sites. Vaulted's proprietary technology builds on decades of expertise to deliver safe, durable carbon and waste management solutions now, at scale. As the Chief Operating Officer, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring internal execution scales effectively as Vaulted enters its next phase of growth through structuring and leading the technical departments responsible for site development through operations to align with our overarching business objectives and growth plans. Strategic Oversight: oversee new site development, site construction and engineering, and slurry injection site operations including the development and implementation of operational strategies aligned with Vaulteds overall goals Process Optimization: streamline workflows and improve efficiency while managing cost across day-to-day operations of the organization Cross-Functional Collaboration: facilitate collaboration between departments to ensure effective operations and communication Budget Management: oversee operational budgets and ensure resources are allocated efficiently and effectively Team Leadership: lead and motivate the management team of operational departments, fostering a culture of high performance, problem solving and continuous improvement To succeed in this role, and help the company to succeed in our mission, the Chief Operating Officer must be a field proven technical operator that owns and scales CRU delivery end-to-end. Bachelors Degree in related field ~15+ years experience in industrial field operations with increasing P&L and leadership responsibility within the energy, chemicals, waste, water, mining or environmental services ~ multiple sites/plants/facilities) ~ Experience with regulatory permitting, safety systems, or injection operations ~ Proven ability to lead and develop a high performing, highly engaged site development and/or site construction team ~ Full-time Management and Manufacturing
