Job Summary

We are seeking experienced MEP Mechanical Engineers to join our engineering team. The role involves the design, coordination, and execution of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection for various building projects. Candidates should have strong technical knowledge, project coordination experience, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities (Both Levels)

  • Design and develop mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection in compliance with project requirements and applicable codes.

  • Prepare mechanical design calculations, drawings, technical specifications, BOQs, and reports.

  • Coordinate with architectural, electrical, and structural teams to ensure integrated MEP solutions.

  • Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents.

  • Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and coordination meetings.

  • Ensure compliance with local and international standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, IPC, etc.).

  • Support construction activities, site inspections, and commissioning processes.

  • Identify design risks and propose value engineering solutions.

  • Maintain project documentation and ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks.

Additional Responsibilities – Mid-Level Engineer

  • Execute mechanical designs under the guidance of senior engineers.

  • Assist in system sizing, load calculations, and equipment selection.

  • Support coordination with contractors and vendors.

  • Address technical queries during construction.

  • Contribute to design optimization and cost-effective solutions.

Additional Responsibilities – Senior Engineer

  • Lead mechanical design activities for assigned projects.

  • Manage and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.

  • Review and approve mechanical designs, calculations, and drawings.

  • Interface directly with clients, consultants, and contractors.

  • Provide technical leadership and resolve complex engineering challenges.

  • Support project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

  • Ensure quality assurance and adherence to project standards.

Qualifications & Experience

Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • 4–7 years of experience in MEP mechanical design or execution.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and load calculation software.

  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, plumbing, and fire protection.

  • Good communication and coordination skills.

Senior Mechanical Engineer

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).

  • 8–12+ years of experience in MEP mechanical engineering.

  • Proven experience leading MEP mechanical projects.

  • Advanced knowledge of HVAC system design and industry standards.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, BIM coordination tools.

  • Strong leadership, client management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with large-scale commercial, residential, industrial, or mixed-use projects.

  • Familiarity with sustainable design, energy efficiency, and green building standards (LEED, Estidama, etc.).

  • Experience in multidisciplinary coordination and BIM environments.

  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
