The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Manager, Governance & Architecture to join our IT Gov & Arch team in Toronto.

This is a permanent hybrid position.

As a Manager, Governance & Architecture you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic alignment of IT initiatives with business objectives, managing the enterprise architecture, strategic planning and facilitating change management processes. This role combines leadership in IT governance, enterprise architecture design, planning and change management to ensure the organization's technology landscape supports its long-term goals.

Additionally, in this position you will:

  • Develop and enforce IT governance frameworks aligned with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Lead enterprise architecture strategy, including business, data, application, and technology domains, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Oversee IT decision-making processes and performance metrics, promoting transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver integrated architecture solutions.
  • Drive innovation and change management, identifying emerging technologies and implementing strategies for IT transformation.
  • Foster strong partnerships with technology providers and internal stakeholders, while managing risk, compliance, and business continuity planning.

About You

Education:

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in Information Technology, Business, Logistics, Finance, Supply Chain Management or Engineering.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 10 years experience

Skills:

  • Ability to manage global project delivery, resources, technical roadmaps, and adherence to standards.
  • Expertise in monitoring metrics, managing risks, and driving continuous improvements and innovation.
  • Strong ability in building strong partnerships with technology vendors and influencing business stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead initiatives and make strategic decisions effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with flexibility to manage change and complexity.
