The Project Accountant will report directly to the Finance Director, US. This position is based in our Waukesha, WI office and operates on a hybrid schedule. Specific responsibilities include: monitoring and tracking project budgets, expenditures, and costs in ProCore and Microsoft Dynamics; leading bi-weekly Project Financial Review meetings with Project Managers; preparing and analyzing financial reports related to project performance; ensuring accurate and timely billing and invoicing for projects; collaborating with project managers to review project budgets and forecasts; conducting variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and budgeted costs; maintaining accurate and up-to-date project accounting records; providing financial support and guidance to project teams; ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards; and adhering to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality management policies and procedures as appropriate to work being undertaken.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field is required; or an Associate's Degree in Accounting, with a solid understanding of accounting concepts and rules and a minimum of 2 years of experience as a project accountant or similar role. Strong understanding of project accounting principles and practices is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required. Experience with ProCore (project management software) is nice to have. Familiarity with ERP Microsoft Dynamics is also nice to have. Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations is necessary.
