We are now looking for Summer Trainee, Responsibility to our head office, the Biofore House, in Helsinki.

Our summer trainees will grow their professional expertise in responsibility topics during the summer. You will learn a lot and get to apply what you have learned in your studies in practice. Our team will offer you a welcoming and supporting environment to grow and develop your skills. We are looking forward to welcoming you to work and grow with us!
What You Will Do
You will work with UPM’s material balance and study material recycling options for organic side streams, such as bark and sludges. The summer work may include also other sustainability related tasks.
Who You Are
We are looking for students who have already advanced a bit in their studies and are familiar with industrial production processes and material balance. Attention to detail and accuracy with numbers are a prerequisite, and knowledge of recycling technologies and circular economy regulations are considered as an asset. We appreciate a positive and energetic attitude, as well as taking initiative and responsibility. In our work environment you will need excellent English skills (both written and spoken). Other language skills are considered as an asset.
We will onboard you to your tasks, as well as the rules and ways of working in our workplace. From your first day, you are a full member of our working community, and we encourage you to be active, learn, and ask questions about your work.
