We are now looking for a Marketing and Communications trainee to join our UPM Pulp Marketing, Sustainability and Communications team at UPM’s head office in Helsinki.

What You Will Do
As a Marketing and Communications Trainee, you’ll gain hands-on experience across a wide range of activities while collaborating with a global network of colleagues. You’ll also be coordinating with external vendors. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating, editing, and publishing diverse content for internal and external audiences
- Designing and coordinating the production of marketing materials and presentations
- Supporting the planning and execution of advertising campaigns
- Contributing to sustainability-related marketing and communications initiatives
- Assisting in event management
- Helping to develop marketing automation and customer portal
- Creating performance reports and gathering insights to support data-driven decision making
- A student or recent graduate in marketing, communications or media (University or University of Applied Sciences)
- Fluent written and spoken Finnish and English
- A well-organized team player with a curious mindset and can-do attitude
- Familiarity with sustainability-related topics is considered an asset
- Experience with digital marketing tools such as LinkedIn, Google Ads & Analytics, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, Lyyti or Salesforce Account Engagement is a plus but not required, as you’ll have the opportunity to learn these on the job
