What you will do
Sales Support & Market Intelligence
- Build actionable sales market intelligence: customer/segment insights, channel dynamics, and competitive moves across regions
- Conduct short-term strategic and tactical evaluations to support quarterly/annual commercial priorities
- Coordinate competitor intelligence programs; translate findings into implications and countermoves
- Provide support to sales leadership with concise industry insights and sparring
- Support sales strategy development and refresh: segmentation, value propositions, pricing playbooks, and commercial KPIs
- Manage strategic business development initiatives to support planning and decision making
- Assess new enduse opportunities and application spaces for UPM pulp; articulate business cases and gotomarket options with internal and external stakeholders
- Lead pulp price forecasting for short and long term.
- Own and evolve pricing model development and pricing scenarios
- Provide sales support on price steering
- You have master’s degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, or related field. Solid experience in B2B process industry, exposure to pulp/paper, markets is a strong plus
- You have strong business oriented mindset with the ability to link market moves to commercial outcomes while keeping a customer centric view
- You are structured, analytical and curious, comfortable moving from hypotheses to data to clear recommendations
- You have handson experience with pricing concepts and forecasting.
- You have excellent stakeholder management and change leadership skills; able to engage across sales, marketing, finance, supply chain
- You have high proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI and/or Python (or similar analytics tools) is beneficial
- You are fluent in English
- You are systematic, organized, and effective in leading cross functional projects in an international context
- You are willing to travel as needed for stakeholders, customers, and industry events
