What You Will Do
- Lead, develop and steer UPM’s group-level social responsibility agenda
- Develop UPM’s social focus areas and related targets
- Advise and collaborate across businesses and global functions to drive common objectives
- Follow human rights developments, societal trends and best practices, and translate them into actionable improvements
- Strengthen risk management, social performance and value creation through robust social responsibility work
- Ensure the continuous development, motivation and professional competence of the Social Responsibility team
- Represent UPM in company-level CSR initiatives and collaboration with key stakeholders
- Contribute to wider Group-level activities such as responsible sourcing, HR, investment management, compliance and internal audit
- You have 10+ years of experience in an international business environment
- You have in-depth knowledge of human rights and responsible sourcing
- You can analyse complex information and identify key insights
- You excel at managing diverse internal and external relationships and networks
- You are effective in leading cross-functional and multi-stakeholder processes
- You bring proven experience in leading teams
- You have strong communication, influencing and presentation skills
- You are well organized, analytical and solution-oriented
