- Conduct Innovative Research: Develop phenotyping and genomic approaches, publish findings, and contribute to high-impact journals.
- Mentor and Supervise: Provide guidance to research students and junior staff, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
- Engage and Collaborate: Build partnerships with industry bodies and stakeholders to enhance research impact and foster collaboration.
- Promote University Values: Actively support diversity, inclusion, and ethical standards within the School and Faculty.
You will be an enthusiastic researcher with a PhD in Plant Physiology, possessing a strong background in cereal crops research and excellent communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders and foster collaborative partnerships.
You may also:
- Have experience in wild barley research and cereal crops.
- Possess excellent organisational skills to manage and complete projects efficiently.
- Be adept at preparing research reports and manuscripts for publication.
- Demonstrate a strong ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Hold a valid Victorian Driver's Licence.
