El Área de Infraestructuras y Servicios Generales se ocupa de la gestión de las infraestructuras y nuevas instalaciones; los servicios logísticos de conserjería y mantenimiento; de la atención al usuario, tanto presencialmente como telefónicamente; y otros servicios generales relacionados con la eficiencia y la sostenibilidad de los equipamientos.
Functions And Duties
Planning and sustainability: Monitoring of the Environmental Plan, integration of the SDGs, preparation of reports, and participation in environmental rankings.
Energy and decarbonization: Energy monitoring, promotion of efficiency, and coordination of plans to reduce emissions.
Waste and circular economy: Management and monitoring of the Waste Plan, promotion of reduction, reuse, and environmental criteria in procurement. Water: Control of consumption and proposals for sustainable water management.
Climate change: Monitoring of the carbon footprint, participation in voluntary agreements, and adaptation measures.
Sustainable mobility: Development of mobility plans and measures to promote sustainable travel.
Technical coordination: Integration of environmental criteria in infrastructures, tenders, and working groups.
Digitalization: Management of sustainability data, definition of KPIs, and promotion of digital tools. Biodiversity: Ecological management and integration of biodiversity on campus.
Environmental health: Promotion of comfort in spaces, awareness-raising actions, and sustainable culture.

Decree on recognition of qualifications of teaching and research staff and professional services staff
According to Spanish Royal Decree 889/2022, recognition of qualifications issued abroad qualifies for the exercise of regulated professions in Spain.
If you apply for a teaching and research staff (PDI) or 100% research staff (PI) post without official recognition of the qualification required in the call, you should submit a declaration of equivalence issued in Spain, together with a Spanish translation of your qualification. The application for this declaration is also valid, subject to a commitment to submit the declaration of equivalence itself within a period of 3 years at most. If the requirement is not met within this period, the contract will be terminated in accordance with Article 49 (b) of Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 2/2015, of 23rd October, approving the revised text of the Workers’ Statute.
If you apply for a professional services staff (PTGAS) post without the required recognised university degree, you may submit a declaration of equivalence of your degree in Spain, together with a translation of the degree into Spanish. The application for this declaration is also valid, subject to a commitment to submit the declaration of equivalence itself within a period of 3 years at most. If the requirement is not met within this period, the contract will be terminated in accordance with Article 49 (b) of Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 2/2015, of 23rd October, approving the revised text of the Workers’ Statute.
If you hold a recognised Spanish master’s degree, you may qualify for hiring, but this will not exempt you from the requirement to submit a declaration of equivalence of the qualification in the call.
If you submit a non-university qualification, when call provisions allow for this, you should include recognition of the qualification in accordance with the specific regulatory framework of the country of origin.

Training in sustainability, environment, or energy. Experience in environmental management, energy, carbon footprint, or waste in similar environments.
Technical knowledge in environmental regulations, green procurement, and monitoring/data tools.
