Deployment Manager - Commercial EV Charging Systems
At Universal EV Chargers, we’re building the backbone of clean, reliable EV infrastructure with turnkey solutions—from site selection and installation to financing, support, and maintenance. As Deployment Manager, you'll be the driver of successful rollouts for large-scale EV charging installations—working with hotels, fleets, and commercial partners to bring smart charging to life.What You’ll Do
- Own the deployment lifecycle for charging installations—from planning and budgeting through install, commissioning, and handoff.
- Coordinate between internal teams (sales, engineering, operations) and external partners (contractors, equipment vendors, property owners).
- Keep projects on schedule and on budget—monitoring progress, managing risks, and adapting plans when needed .
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders—ensuring clear communication and satisfaction.
- Use smart systems to track inventory and documentation, and deliver precise project reports.
- Clarify scopes of work and manage logistics, including inventory movement, installation scheduling, and site readiness—aligned with Universal EV Charger's deployment structure.
- Adapt to the evolving EV landscape—working with NACS and interoperability standards, nationwide grant programs, and future-forward charging tech.
- Proven experience executing infrastructure rollouts—ideally EV charging, telecoms, energy, or similar.
- A planner who thrives in dynamic environments—comfortable switching gears to keep things moving.
- Collaborative communicator—skilled at juggling multiple stakeholders and maintaining clarity.
- Hands-on with data—can track costs, schedules, materials, and project progress in real time.
- Flexible traveler—able to visit installs across Texas and surrounding areas.
- Background in EV charging systems or green energy deployments.
- Familiarity with grant-funded infrastructure—bonus if you've worked with hotel chains or commercial properties.
- Strong technical sense—understands how charger hardware, software, and site construction fit together.
