Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for Honorary Board Members for the UNITY OF NATIONS ACTION FOR CLIMATE CHANGE COUNCIL (UNAccc). The role will be based in Perth, WA, with the flexibility for some remote work. Responsibilities include promoting SDG awareness, participating in board meetings, contributing to strategic decision-making, fostering global partnerships, and advocating for climate change initiatives. Additionally, members will provide insights and recommendations to advance the council’s mission and initiatives.

Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and global climate change issues
- Proven experience in advocacy, stakeholder engagement, or leadership, preferably in environmental or social initiatives
- Ability to strategize, collaborate, and provide expert advice in a board setting
- Excellent communication, public speaking, and negotiation skills with cross-cultural sensitivity
- Track record of building partnerships and fostering harmonious relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Proactive and committed mindset to advancing climate change efforts and achieving organizational vision
- International experience or exposure to global climate networks is highly desirable
- A background in policy, corporate responsibility, environmental science, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
