Electrician Journeyman

United Better Homes is a growing home improvement company specializing in solar, electrical, HVAC, and energy-efficient solutions. We are currently seeking a Licensed Electrical Journeyman to join our team and support residential electrical and solar installations throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform residential electrical work in compliance with state and local codes
• Support solar PV system installations, battery storage, and service upgrades
• Install and troubleshoot electrical panels, meters, disconnects, and wiring
• Read and interpret electrical plans and schematics
• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
• Communicate professionally with customers, inspectors, and team members

Requirements

• Valid Electrical Journeyman License (MA and/or RI)
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on electrical experience
• Residential electrical experience required (solar experience a plus)
• Strong knowledge of NEC and local codes
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
