Book keeper with solar experience

United Better Homes, a trusted name in solar, roofing, HVAC, windows, and home improvements for over 20 years, is seeking a bookkeeper with strong solar industry experience. We are looking for a proven professional who is a leader, not a follower who takes ownership, solves problems, and drives results with accuracy and accountability.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
• Track and record solar financing, project sales, and installation revenue.
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records in compliance with company and industry standards.
• Work closely with management on budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Ensure financial processes are followed and continuously improved.
• Train, mentor, and lead administrative staff in financial procedures.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years bookkeeping/accounting experience required.
• Solar or renewable energy industry experience required.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks experience a plus).
• Ability to analyze data and generate accurate financial reports.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
