Job Description
The Sales Manager is responsible for the management of sales directly to end users of UL’s products or services in Korea. In this role, you will be responsible for our Energy & Industrial Automation product segments including Renewable Energies, Power & Automation, Industrial Functional Safety, Cyber Security and related businesses.

The Sales Manager is responsible for the management of sales directly to end users of UL’s products or services in Korea. In this role, you will be responsible for our Energy & Industrial Automation product segments including Renewable Energies, Power & Automation, Industrial Functional Safety, Cyber Security and related businesses.
Responsibilities
- Strategy ownership: Adopt and modify existing regional sales strategy for all service segments and optimize based on Korean customer and market movements. Demonstrate expertise and understanding in latest market developments and trends to drive go-to market strategies & new service introductions.
- Revenue accountability: Achieve order targets with all customer segments to drive revenue growth and business results. Manages sales quotas, pipelines and forecasting and hold sales staff accountable for assigned sales targets
- Cross-functional leadership: Collaborate with leadership, marketing, operations, and product teams to provide superior customer experience. Coordinate and drive regional marketing events including seminars, tradeshows, and educational events.
- Data-driven management: Include use of Sales Force, analytics, and performance insights to drive decisions.
- Account planning: Work together Direct report territory sellers and Global Strategic Account Directors to win at our most important accounts. Lead client engagement by developing and managing relationships with key decision maker for large and medium customers.
- Sales process governance: Utilize, drive and adopt standard sales processes, pipeline hygiene, and pipeline methodology adherence.
- Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices.
- Performs other duties as directed.
- University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree) in a related discipline plus generally 8 Years or more of related discipline experience or demonstrated competency including 3 years or more of relevant management/leadership experience or demonstrated competency.
- Extensive knowledge of company policies and sales processes.
- Requires the ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules to senior level management and customers.
- Expert on sales strategies and tactics.
- Significant business travel and work outside of the office is required.
