Senior Energy Project Manager / Principal Opportunity


TYG is partnering with a leading engineering consultancy to recruit a Senior Energy Project Manager / Principal to join its growing Energy team in New York.


This is an exciting opportunity to lead complex energy infrastructure, renewable energy, and building decarbonization projects while helping shape the growth of an established and highly regarded practice.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead multidisciplinary energy projects from planning and design through construction and delivery.
  • Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
  • Deliver energy master plans, feasibility studies, and decarbonization strategies.
  • Support business development and mentor technical teams.
  • Collaborate with clients across public and private sectors to deliver innovative, low-carbon solutions.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy Engineering (advanced degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in energy consulting, engineering, utilities, or infrastructure.
  • Experience with energy efficiency, renewable energy, district energy, HVAC, or building decarbonization projects.
  • Strong project management and client-facing experience.
  • Knowledge of NYC energy regulations (LL88/LL97) is beneficial.
  • PE, PMP, CEM, or similar professional certifications are preferred.
