Planning Manager / Lead – Energy & Decarbonisation Projects

I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Planning Manager / Lead Planner to join a major organisation delivering an expanding portfolio of decarbonisation, Energy Performance Contracting (EPC), M&E and energy infrastructure projects.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to use their planning and project controls expertise on projects directly supporting the UK's transition towards a lower-carbon and more sustainable built environment.

The role will take responsibility for developing, managing and controlling programmes across multiple concurrent projects – working closely with Project Managers, Design, Commercial, Procurement and Operational teams to drive successful delivery.

What we’re looking for:

? Strong planning experience within Energy Performance Contracting, decarbonisation, M&E or building services

? Advanced knowledge of ASTA Powerproject and Primavera P6

? Experience developing logic-linked, cost and resource-loaded programmes

? Strong understanding of critical path analysis, programme risk and recovery planning

? Experience working with NEC3 / NEC4 contracts

? Ability to challenge project teams, influence stakeholders and drive programme certainty

? Strong reporting, forecasting and analytical capability

Experience within Project Controls, EVM or Power BI would also be highly beneficial.
