CONTRACT: PERMANENT - 37 HOURS PER WEEK

JOB SUMMARY:
The Sustainability Co-ordinator role will contain duties relating to the implementation of Tuath's sustainability strategy and reporting requirements. The post holder will play a vital role in promoting and implementing sustainable practices both within the organisation and within communities. The position requires a passion for sustainability, experience in community engagement, knowledge of wider sustainability topics within housing, communities and the built environment, strong project management and data analysis skills, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES SUSTAINABILITY:
Supporting tenant led sustainability projects such as the co-ordination of Tuath's Resident Climate Action Fund including resident engagement, support and impact assessment.
Development of sustainability material for tenants and bulletins/ tenant magazine.
Collaboration with other departments as required to assist the integration of sustainability principles across the organisation.
Co-ordinate the collection of sustainability related disclosures, such as those required under the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).
Analyse data and prepare reports on sustainability performance..
Deliver sustainability training within the organisation.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to foster partnerships and promote sustainability initiatives.
Participate in industry forums, conferences, and working groups to stay updated on sustainability trends and best practices.
Be a lead member of the Tuath Green Team, to raise awareness and promote employee engagement through communication campaigns, events, and initiatives.
Produce Tuath's annual sustainability report in collaboration with the wider team.
Development of policies and procedures relating to sustainability.

- Monitor and Measure Sustainability Performance:
Co-ordinate the collection of sustainability related disclosures, such as those required under the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).

- Stakeholder Engagement and Change Management.
Deliver sustainability training within the organisation.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to foster partnerships and promote sustainability initiatives.

GENERAL:
- Help administer and maintain an efficient team at all times, in support of the Sustainability Manager.
- Ensure effective communication and administration of the sustainability agenda, through management of team's sharepoint site, keeping it always updated and relevant for staff.
- Contribute to the effective delivery of a quality service through the formulation, review and proper implementation of policies and procedures.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations and act in accordance with Tuath's Health and Safety Policy.
- Undertake continuous professional development as required.
- Carry out other relevant duties as reasonably assigned, in line with the purpose and grading of the role.
