Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Amritsar for a Solid Waste Management, IEC/CB expert. The expert will oversee the design and implementation of initiatives related to solid waste management and recycling. They will conduct training and capacity-building activities and disseminate Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) to promote effective waste management practices. The individual will collaborate closely with stakeholders, monitor project progress, and ensure the alignment of goals with environmental and health improvement objectives.

Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Waste Management and Solid Waste Management processes
- Knowledge and experience in Recycling and Environmental Science
- Proven ability to conduct Training and Capacity-Building activities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in community-based initiatives and project management
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, Social Work, or a related field
- Familiarity with IEC (Information, Education, Communication) strategies is an added advantage
