Associate Buyer – Project Procurement (Renewable Energy)

1-year contract | 40 hrs/week | Hybrid/Remote

We’re looking for an Associate Buyer to support procurement and contract administration across early‑stage renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and BESS. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills, SAP experience, and at least 1 year in the renewable energy sector.

What You’ll Do

  • Create and maintain purchase orders (POs) and process change orders in SAP.
  • Verify invoices, resolve discrepancies with Accounts Payable, and support month‑end accruals.
  • Assist with contract routing, documentation, and approvals.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to gather scope details and ensure deliverables.
  • Maintain procurement trackers, support reporting, and help improve SAP workflows.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1 year of renewable energy experience (solar, wind, or BESS).
  • SAP experience with POs, change orders, and invoice workflows.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate effectively.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting procurement or contract administration teams.
  • Familiarity with development‑phase environmental or engineering scopes.
  • Knowledge of AP workflows or document routing tools.
