Triple Oak Power is hiring an Associate General Counsel to primarily support its development and real estate teams. This position is designed for a 3-5 year associate attorney who brings strong real estate experience, sound legal judgment, and the ability to operate within a lean, high‑performing legal team.

What You’ll Do

• Draft, review, and negotiate leases, easements, land options, and mineral and water rights agreements that support site control and development readiness.

• Conduct legal research across land use, zoning, environmental, and regulatory matters; translate requirements into internal guidance and defensible documentation.

• Support permitting and environmental review processes by preparing jurisdictional filings and collaborating with development teams to resolve regulatory challenges.

• Coordinate legal inputs for site acquisition, project transactions, and investment structuring; ensure timely and compliant deliverables across workstreams.

• Engage with landowners, agencies, and external partners as a legal representative for assigned matters; prepare materials for regulatory interactions.

• Partner with the legal team and the business to maintain documentation integrity, workflow consistency, and legal alignment across the portfolio.

• Monitor policy and regulatory developments affecting land use, permitting, and renewable energy; synthesize insights for internal audiences.

What You Bring

• Juris Doctor (JD) and admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

• Three plus years of legal experience in real estate, land use, renewable energy, or related infrastructure sectors.

• Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating leases, easements, land options, and related agreements; experience with mineral and water rights preferred.

• Ability to communicate legal guidance clearly to cross‑functional teams, landowners, and external partners.

• Strong judgment, attention to detail, and comfort operating in a fast‑moving, collaborative environment.

• Authorization to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship; willingness to travel periodically for site visits and stakeholder meetings. Portland, Oregon–based candidates preferred.
