Role Description
- This is a hybrid role, the PTA will liaise with each project team lead to ensure effective synchronization of all parts of ongoing work.
- Will participate in each engineering design phase of all active projects
- Will be involved in grant writing and project development alongside senior engineers
- Prepare reports to provide regular briefings on each ongoing work to the MD and CEO
- Will laise with clients to provide project updates, implementation estimation and risk assesments
- Provide regular monitoring of the financial and technical metrics of renewable energy projects in the companies investment portfolio.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate power generation system performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Practical knowledge and hands-on experience with renewable energy analytical tools such as HOMER (or equivalent simulation software), Odyssey, RetScreen, and PVsyst. Demonstrated expertise in using at least one RE simulation tool—particularly HOMER—for developing renewable energy mini-grids is essential.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Energy Systems, or related fields.
- Experience in renewable energy systems or sustainable power generation is highly desirable.
- Certifications in energy systems, power engineering, or technical support are considered an asset.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and providing Technical Support for resolving system malfunctions or inefficiencies
- Excellent Communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to clients, teams, and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to use spreadsheet models for financial and economic project analysis.
- Solid understanding of the REA and NEP frameworks in Nigeria, as well as awareness of international best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational abilities.
- A proactive self-starter with a strategic mindset and strong attention to detail.
