Role Description

This is a hybrid position for a Climate Change Specialist. The role includes developing and implementing strategies for climate change adaptation and mitigation, conducting analysis on carbon emissions, and generating evidence-based recommendations for policies and programs. The specialist will collaborate with the managing director and engage with clients to address environmental and sustainable development challenges effectively.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Climate Change Adaptation and Climate Change Mitigation strategies in Africa
• Strong knowledge of Climate and Carbon dynamics
• Advanced Analytical Skills, particularly in environmental and climate-related research
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration and client engagement
• Ability to work independently within a remote team setup
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Environmental Science, Climate Studies, Engineering, or related field
• Experience in clean energy, climate policy development, or related fields is a strong advantage
