Senior Executive ESG
The Senior Executive – ESG & Sustainability will be responsible for supporting the organization’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives through comprehensive research, data analysis, sustainability reporting, stakeholder engagement, and compliance management. The role involves coordinating ESG programs, driving sustainability strategies, and ensuring alignment with regulatory and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
1. ESG Research & Data Analysis
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on ESG trends, benchmarks, and best practices.
- Collect, analyse, and monitor ESG-related data across various internal departments.
- Prepare ESG scorecards, dashboards, and performance tracking reports.
- Support the development of ESG metrics and KPIs to evaluate organizational performance.
2. Sustainability Reporting & Communication
- Assist in preparing sustainability reports, ESG disclosures, and integrated reporting frameworks (GRI, BRSR, CDP, SDGs).
- Draft content for sustainability-related communications such as newsletters, reports, and presentations.
- Ensure accuracy, transparency, and consistency of ESG information shared with internal and external stakeholders.
3. Stakeholder Engagement & ESG Governance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect data and implement sustainability initiatives.
- Support internal ESG committees and governance frameworks.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders including auditors, consultants, regulatory bodies, and partners.
- Facilitate ESG awareness programs and training sessions across the organization.
4. Climate Change & Environmental Sustainability Initiatives
- Support the planning and implementation of climate action projects, including energy efficiency, waste reduction, and carbon footprint assessments.
- Assist in environmental impact studies and sustainability initiatives aligned with company targets.
- Track organizational progress on climate-related commitments and action plans.
5. IFCPS Project Management
- Assist in managing IFCPS-related sustainability projects.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely execution, monitoring, and documentation.
- Prepare project progress reports, compliance documents, and stakeholder communication.
6. Environmental & Labor Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health & safety, and labor-related regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable laws, regulatory updates, and sustainability standards.
- Prepare compliance documentation, audits, and regulatory submissions.
- Support risk assessments and corrective action plans for non-compliance issues.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, ESG, or related field.
Experience :
- 2–5 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, compliance, or related functions.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and research skills with proficiency in data interpretation.
- Knowledge of ESG frameworks (GRI, BRSR, SASB, TCFD, SDGs).
- Understanding of environmental and labour regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder coordination skills.
