Job Overview
In this Lead Engineer, Modeling & Simulation role, you will work closely with the project team to boldly tackle the industry's cutting-edge challenges. You will utilize advanced simulation software and state-of-the-art testing equipment to design and validate refrigeration systems, while keeping a close eye on competitors and technological trends to continuously enhance customer value.
We are looking for candidates with relevant HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) theory and experience, as well as knowledge of simulation and software development, to efficiently advance technical work. Job Responsibilities
- Lead modeling and simulation activities in alignment with the company’s product development process, ensuring high-quality system analysis, risk identification, and actionable design recommendations.
- Define and drive the technical roadmap for 1D system simulation applications, improving simulation capability through new technologies, enhanced methodologies, and practical engineering needs.
- Develop, review, and refine component mathematical models, system-level architectures, and unit control logic characteristics, ensuring accurate functional implementation and strong correlation with physical behavior.
- Lead the integration of simulation with experimental validation, using test data to calibrate models, improve prediction accuracy, and support design decisions.
- Drive standardization, automation, and continuous improvement of refrigeration system design and simulation workflows to increase development efficiency and technical consistency.
- Provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams, influencing product architecture, simulation strategy, and system optimization decisions.
- Monitor competitive technologies, industry trends, and emerging modeling approaches to identify innovation opportunities and strengthen customer value propositions.
- Mentor and guide engineers in modeling and simulation best practices, helping to build team capability and technical depth.
- Master's degree or above
- Educational background or work experience in Thermal Energy and Power Engineering, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, or related fields.
- Over 5 years of experience in model development and applications
- Proficient in Python/C++/C#/Modelica/Matlab.
- Good communication skills in both Chinese and English (written and spoken).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and delivering customer-focused engineering solutions.
