Thermo King has an opportunity for APU Intern which provides current college students with challenging assignments, leadership training, valuable exposure to our company's senior leaders and opportunities to network. Our 12-week summer Electrification opportunity offers candidates working toward their Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering exposure to variety assignments which could include: New Product Development, FMEA & DFMEA, Value Analysis/Value Engineering, Product Design, Component and Reliability Testing.

Base Pay Range: $24.30 - $27.54/hr

- Rapidly resolve problems to maximize customer satisfaction
- Establish courses of action for self and others to ensure work is completed efficiently, such as, prioritizing tasks based on importance
- Willing to relocate or commute to Minneapolis for the duration of the internship
- Pursuing a BS/BA Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with a cumulative overall GPA at or above 3.0
- Minimum Work Experience: Junior year status – completed at least one previous internship or work experience
- Classwork, hands-on experience and/or personal passion in any of the areas of battery technology, mechanical refrigeration, electrical design, or mechanical design
- Demonstrated leadership skills such as: campus organizations, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or exceptional leadership of work projects
- U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
