Standard Schedule – 4 days in office, 1-day flexible work location

This Designer II plays a pivotal role in creating visually stunning 3D and 2D graphics for control projects submitted by our Commercial Sales & Service Offices. By leveraging their expertise in digital tools, they help bring our projects to life! While reporting to a Lead Digital Designer, they may also have the opportunity to work within a dynamic sub team led by a Senior Digital Designer.

What You Will Do

  • Produces designs and documentation utilizing computer design and product life cycle management systems.
  • Documentation of parts and bills of materials
  • Develop a good working knowledge and familiarity of design and drafting standard practices, methods and processes
  • Work from oral engineering instructions or written procedures, schematics, drawings and sketches.
  • Ability to lead small segments of large projects with responsibility for completion of assignments. Exercise sound judgment in recognition of potential design problems. Detects and corrects own errors.
  • Maintains competency level of computer aided graphic system and other applications through company provided training and materials.
  • Must be customer driven, innovative and quality minded in performance of all assigned duties.
  • Develop and exercise good communication skills.
  • Maintains awareness and adheres to all company safety and security policies and procedures.
  • May be required to travel to various locations to support products or train other personnel.
  • Receives generalized information and instruction pertaining to assignment from engineers or senior staff. Work direction, content and accuracy reviewed by engineers or senior department members.

What You Will Bring

  • Associate’s Degree (AAS) in Drafting & Design Technology and at least 2-years of work experience using computer-aided graphic solutions is required.
  • Experience in SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, CAD, AutoCAD or ProEngineer

Compensation

Pay Range: $44,300 - $90,200 annually.
