What's In It For You
In this role, you own the management, quantification and delivery of customer energy savings and sustainability outcomes. Working hand in hand with Sales, Project Management Office (PMO), Solutions Engineers and Onboarding Engineers, you will ensure our customers are receiving clear, ironclad, results. With you at the helm, our internal teams will have a lighthouse to turn to for all things related to energy savings and emissions reductions.
What You Will Do
- Utilize industry-standard measurement and verification (M&V) processes to accurately calculate energy savings for projects. Develop and implement scalable M&V strategies that align with best practices and industry standards
- Quantify avoided greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions using the appropriate average and/or marginal rates
- Collaborate with the Sales, Solution Engineers, CSM teams to ensure timely preparation of customer presentations
- Collaborate with the Development team to ensure scalability and operational efficiency of deliverables.
- Lead customer facing presentations in tandem with Customer Success. Deliver and explain all benefits during the project including savings and energy analysis results to customers.
- Interface with Sales & Solutions Engineers for review of design intent and savings calculations
- Review, analyze and manage Energy Analysis by others including utility bill accounting, GHG inventory, end-use analysis and tariff modeling.
- Work effectively and build relationships across functions such as engineering, sales, business development, solutions architects, services, and evangelists to achieve business goals.
- Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related discipline from an accredited university or college. (Deep domain expertise applicants who don’t fulfill this requirement are also invited to apply. We value competence.)
- 10 -12 Years of experience in engineering and energy savings calculations for performance contracting or energy efficiency projects.
- Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP) or Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
- Deep knowledge of energy management applications in HVAC.
- Demonstrated experience in quantifying contracted energy savings.
- Demonstrated experience working in different building types (e.g. office, mall, retail).
- Effective face-to-face and virtual presentation, influencing, communicating, and negotiating skills.
- Succinct, clear technical and non-technical writing skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to provide sound and reliable judgment in business solutions.
- Sound business acumen, including resource management, cash flows, conflict resolution, and contract management.
- Ability to set up tasks, documents and work collaboratively in an online team environment.
- Strong organization and planning skills including electronic file and email management.
- Advanced Excel, Word, SQL, Access, Outlook, Tableau use and programming skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
