You will lead the PMO organization, including teams operating across waterfall, agile, and PMO analyst verticals, responsible for managing global programs and projects. This role will ensure disciplined execution of key initiatives, including New Product Development (NPD), VAVE, NTP, Quality & Reliability, ETO, and product sustenance programs across business units. You will establish strong program governance, maintain portfolio visibility through clear performance metrics, and lead operational reviews to ensure predictable program delivery and effective risk management.

The role will represent the organization in global PMO leadership forums and contribute to improving program management practices and operational effectiveness across complex product development environments.

Along with leading the PMO, you will provide leadership to Engineering Design teams, strengthening engineering capabilities and supporting the successful delivery of global engineering programs. This includes advancing engineering practices related to CAD-based design workflows, PLM-driven product lifecycle processes, engineering design standards, and manufacturing design practices.

Parts and component management activities will operate within the engineering ecosystem, with focus on strengthening parts lifecycle governance, classification frameworks, attribute standardization, and lifecycle data management within PLM systems to support design efficiency, parts reuse, and product development effectiveness.

You will also help drive strategic initiatives that leverage AI-enabled engineering workflows, AI-assisted program management practices, generative design capabilities, and advanced analytics to improve engineering productivity, strengthen program visibility, and support data-driven decision making.

Equally important, you will foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing culture, strengthening engagement and cross-functional collaboration while continuing to build strong program management and engineering capabilities within the organization.

  • Experience working with PLM-integrated engineering environments and Model-Based Definition frameworks (preferable)
  • Understanding of parts lifecycle management, including parts classification, governance, and reuse strategies within product development environments.
  • Familiarity with leveraging data analytics and AI/ML capabilities to improve engineering workflows, program visibility, and data-driven decision making.
  • Experience working within a Global Capability Center (GCC) or global R&D ecosystem, collaborating with engineering, product management, and business teams across regions.
  • Strong stakeholder leadership, strategic execution discipline, and executive communication capability.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive productivity improvements, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives within engineering and program organizations.
  • A strong capability-building mindset, with experience developing high-performing teams and strengthening organizational maturity.

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Project Management certification (PMP, PgMP, PfMP, PMI-ACP or equivalent) preferred.
  • Professional certifications related to Engineering Design, Product Lifecycle Management, or Program Management would be an advantage.
