Journeyman Electrician
We’re looking for an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This is a great opportunity for skilled professionals who can handle complex conduit work and advanced electrical installations with precision and efficiency.
Pay: $32/hour
Per Diem: $100/ day
Job Site: Minden, LA
Experience: 5–7 years at journeyman level
Duration: long-term
Language Requirement: Must be English-speaking – both verbal and written
Scope of Work:
- Install complex conduit configurations and perform hand bending of EMT conduit with minimal waste or joints
- Pull wire, make terminations, and install conduit stub-ups for customer-supplied equipment
- Install UPS systems, DLO cables, fire alarm panels, and switchgear
- Handle both standard and complex conduit and electrical component installations in buildings
- Ensure all work complies with NEC codes, color codes, and American Wire standards
- Maintain high safety and quality standards on all installations
Ideal Candidate:
- 5–7 years of journeyman-level experience
- Strong understanding of NEC and electrical systems
- Proven ability to perform precision conduit bending and complex layouts
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused
